RIONEL SCX

The RIONEL SCX series has been designed for blast sequencing, introducing intervals of delay time in between blast holes, by means of easy surface connections. RIONEL SCX series provides sequencing different charges between blast holes or different rows of bore holes. When used together with RIONEL MS, LP or DDX, they offer great versatility in the timing design of any blast. RIONEL SCX is composed of a shock tube of different coiled lengths. It also has a plastic connector containing a low-charged delay detonator of high precision that minimises noise and shrapnel. The connector can accept up to 6 tubes and is colour coded depending on its delay. RIONEL SCX is the ideal type of connection for the MAXAM RIONEL system.

Read the Instructions Safety Sheet and the Material Safety Data Sheet provided carefully before using the RIONEL SCX series detonators. RIONEL SCX must not be used in UG mines where permitted detonators are required due to their possible flammable environments. MAXAM strongly recommends not to use RIONEL products with detonators and/or initiation systems supplied by other manufacturers in the same blast and declines all liability in these cases. RIONEL SCX detonators must be stored at moderate temperatures in a dry and well ventilated place.
