Replacement of Conventional Lighting with LEDs and Energy Saving and Efficiency Systems in Lighting

The project encompasses all the factors necessary to make a lighting installation as efficient as possible: replacement of conventional lighting fixtures with LED technology lighting equivalents, introduction of lighting regulation and control systems, optimization of existing installations and bringing them into compliance with regulations.
The existing lighting in the factory consisted of fluorescent, halide and sodium vapor luminaires. The luminaires with the longest hours of operation and, therefore, the greatest savings potential were replaced. A total of 2,130 luminaires have been installed, mainly watertight screens, industrial hoods, projectors and street lights. A total of 2332 old luminaires have been removed and the waste has been transported to an authorized manager. Numerous lighting studies have been carried out to verify the compliance of the new equipment and to optimize the installations as much as possible. Likewise, installations that had an excess of light points have been optimized, modifying the existing electrical installation to achieve greater energy savings than those initially proposed.
