RIOTRONIC XS detonators are the most secure electronic initiation systems for seismic exploration, made by MAXAM Initiation Systems, reliable and rugged able to meet the most demanding environments. The RIOTRONIC XS electronic initiation system has been designed to provide safety, secure and accurate initiation of seismic energy source. The detonator always must be protected from damage during priming and loading procedure.

The RIOTRONIC XS detonators let user comply with security regulation for total product tracking. (Traceability) For further information consult the User Recommendations Sheet included inside the boxes or packaging of the product and the respective Safety Data Sheet (SDS).

USE: It should be used, handled and stored with care, ensuring the product is kept away from flames and excessive heat sources.

DISPOSAL: The disposal of explosive material can be dangerous. Ensure that the appropriate safety measures have been applied as per instructions on the SDS and in accordance with local regulations.

For safety and to maintain the explosive properties, RIOTRONIC XS should be stored in authorized magazines, in a cool dry place, with good ventilation and stacked properly as designated on the cases, may be stored at temperatures between - 40ºC and +70ºC.

Read the Instructions Safety Sheet and the Material Safety Data Sheet carefully before using RIOTRONIC MAXAM strongly recommends not to use RIOTRONIC products with detonators and/or initiation systems supplied by other manufacturers in the same blast and declines all liability in these cases RIOTRONIC must be stored at moderate temperatures in a dry and well ventilated place
