RIOMEX UP TR

RIOMEX UP TR is a booster sensitive, bulk emulsion that is designed for use in underground mining conditions. It is suitable for wet or dry upholes, downholes, 360° rings, development and production blasts.

RIOMEX UP TR is a factory sensitized bulk emulsion with excellent water resistance, improved fume characteristics, and increased VOD.

It has exceptional retention times in upholes and minimal product migration into cracks and fissures.

RIOMEX UP TR is available in a wide range of factory set densities.

RIOMEX UP TR should be initiated with a suitable primer assembly that includes non electric or electronic detonators such as MAXAM non electric detonators RIONEL and electronic detonators RIOTRONIC.

RIOMEX UP TR can be primed with a wide range of products including MAXAM complementary products such as cast pentolite RIOBOOSTER, packaged emulsion cartridges RIOMAX, and packaged watergel cartridges RIOGEL.

RIOMEX UP TR is classified as a dangerous good and if used incorrectly may result in personal injury and/or property damage.

Do not use in flammable or methane atmospheres.

Suitable for use in ground temperatures from 0ºC and +55ºC.

Suitable for use in reactive ground. For applications involving reactive ground, please consult your local MAXAM Technical representative.

For disposal please consult your local MAXAM Technical representative, to ensure appropriate safety measures are applied.

Under normal conditions of use, RIOMEX UP TR is fairly insensitive to shock, impact and friction. However it should be used, handled and stored with care, ensuring the product is kept away from flames and excessive heat sources.

If it is planned to initiate the bulk explosive column with detonating cord, please first consult with your local MAXAM Technical representative.
