RIOHIT 200 SERIES

RIOHIT™ 200 is an economical, cross-linked, water resistant, high energy emulsion. RIOHIT™ 250 is a cross-linked, aluminized, water resistant, high energy emulsion. RIOHIT™ 250 MS is a cross-linked, high performance, aluminized, water resistant emulsion that is solid sensitized for an increased level of resistance to excess shock from adjacent blast holes. RIOHIT™ 200 Series products are suitable for surface applications. The water resistant characteristics of the RIOHIT™ 200 Series products make them suitable for use in small and large diameter wet holes. Transportation, storage and handling must be in accordance with local, state and federal regulations. Ensure that all RIOHIT™ 200 Series products are between 5°F (-15°C) and 131°F (55°C) prior to initiation. When using in cold weather, allow ample time for the product to warm to borehole temperature. The RIOHIT™ 200 Series products have a shelf life of one year when stored between -4°F (-20°C ) and 104°F (40°C). The RIOHIT™ 200 Series products have a minimum priming requirement of a 1/2 pound (227g) cast booster.

ALWAYS allow the RIOHIT™ 200 Series products ample time to warm to borehole temperature. NEVER force explosive materials into a borehole. NEVER reuse any explosive material packaging. NEVER load a borehole containing hot or burning material. Temperatures above 150° F (68° C) could be dangerous. NEVER subject explosive materials to excessive impact or friction. NEVER use explosive materials unless completely familiar with the safe procedures or under the direction of a qualified supervisor.
